This web site is designed with two objectives:

- Provide information to potential visitors and those who are looking for information on the municipality.

Community Planning
The RM of St. François Xavier is in the process of developing a community plan to govern its growth and development for the next 20 years. A new web page has been added for your information. It can be found under the "Municipal" button above or by clicking here.
Municipal Election
A municipal election is scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Visit our Election page for more information.
Summer Council Meetings
The council meetings over the summer are on a reduced schedule. For July and August they will be held:
- Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.

Water Utility Annual Report
The municipality is required to prepare and annual report on its water utility. Our water is provided by the Cartier Regional Water Co-op Inc. (CRWCI). Their reports for 2007 , 2008 , and 2009 are available for your information.
2010 Budget
Council has developed the 2010 annual budget. It is available for viewing at the municipal office.
The 2009 Audited Financial Statements are now available. The report can be found on the "Budget and Taxes" page.

Report a Street Light Problem

Emergency Preparedness
The Emergency Management Board of the Rural Municipalities of Headingley, St. Francois Xavier and Cartier are canvassing for volunteers to take on positions within the Municipal Emergency Plan. Click here for more information.
White Horse Plains Planning District
On April 6, 2010, the Board passed a new development plan as By-law 1-2008. This followed approval by the Minister of Local Government. The Board is now actively working on a new zoning by-law. The development plan can be found here. The over all land use map can be found here.
